Would you like to contribute to a future-proof world where circularity and sustainability are central? Then we would love to get to know you!

Who are we?
We are a young company in the scale-up phase, full of ambition to make the world a little better. That’s why we are looking for a driven Fullstack Developer to strengthen our development team.
Building houses and other structures such as schools, offices, and sports halls is necessary, but it also places a burden on the environment. This is partly because the production of building materials generates a lot of emissions. At BCI Gebouw, we believe that the choice of building materials should be a conscious one, whether you are constructing something new, renovating something existing, or replacing materials.
To provide insight into these choices, we have developed an online measurement tool called BCI Gebouw, which makes environmental, CO₂, and circularity performance transparent and accessible within the construction and real estate sector.
BCI Gebouw operates at the intersection of sustainability, circularity, data, and innovation within the construction and real estate industry. From our circular office at the inspiring Tramkade in Den Bosch, we work every day on smart solutions for the built environment across the Netherlands and beyond.
Your role as a Fullstack Developer
You are the person who transforms our data and functionality into beautiful, user-friendly interfaces. You ensure that architects, construction companies, and real estate organizations can easily gain insight into the circularity performance of their projects. In doing so, you help them make better, more conscious choices for a more sustainable built environment.
As a fullstack developer, your focus will be on building elegant, functional interfaces using modern frontend frameworks. You understand how the backend works and can contribute where necessary, but your main strength lies in frontend and UI/UX development.
What will you do?
- Develop modern user interfaces using contemporary frontend frameworks
- Implement styling and UI/UX using modern CSS solutions such as Tailwind CSS
- Build functionality from frontend to integration with backend APIs
- Develop webviews for use within our Planon application
- Actively contribute to defining the final tech stack: we are currently in the process of choosing our future frontend architecture, and your experience and vision will be highly valuable
- Support backend development where possible
- Contribute ideas regarding scalability, best practices, and code quality
Our tech stack is not yet fixed. We are actively searching for the best long-term solution, and your experience with different backend frameworks, databases, and architecture patterns is essential in this process.
Which technologies do you know? What would you recommend? We are open to your vision and ideas.
You:
- Care about sustainability and circularity, we must pass the world on responsibly to the next generation
- Have experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Nuxt, Next.js, or similar)
- Are proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern styling solutions (TailwindCSS, CSS-in-JS, etc.)
- Have a strong sense for UI/UX and know how to build user-friendly interfaces
- Understand how frontend and backend work together and can integrate APIs
- Can contribute to backend development when needed, though this is not required
- Have an affinity for scalable and maintainable code
- Can justify technical decisions and actively contribute to architectural discussions
- Have a healthy sense of responsibility and think proactively
- Enjoy combining independent work with being part of a great, young team
- Appreciate social moments and having a drink with colleagues
We:
- Are a priority player in the field of circularity within the Dutch construction sector and offer you the chance to truly contribute to a future-proof Netherlands
- Are in the scale-up phase of our company, which means a lot of freedom and responsibility for you
- Have talented colleagues who are happy to help you if you get stuck
- Welcome your input in defining our final tech stack
- Believe in “work hard, play hard”: we organize team outings such as sports activities and social drinks, we have lunch together (which we provide), and we aim for an annual weekend trip
- Are flexible regarding time off, as long as the expected output is achieved
- Work in a healthy mix of remote work and from our beautiful, inspiring location in ’s-Hertogenbosch (Tramkade)
- Offer a competitive salary and an attractive bonus scheme that can amount to a 13th and even a 14th month salary

Account Manager
Location: Den Bosch (Tramkade)
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
We are BCI
We are BCI, a young company in the scale-up phase with strong ambitions to make the construction and real estate sector better and more effective. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a driven Account Manager.
Building homes and other structures such as schools, offices, and sports facilities is essential, but it also places a heavy burden on the environment. This is partly due to the high emissions associated with producing construction materials and the depletion of raw materials. As a result, this market is currently changing rapidly, driven by legislation, procurement requirements, and the (re)valuation of real estate based on material use.
At BCI, we believe that choosing building materials should be a conscious decision—whether you are building new, renovating, or replacing existing materials. To support better decision-making, BCI has developed an eponymous online measurement tool that makes environmental, CO₂, and circularity performance transparent and accessible within the construction and real estate sector.
BCI operates at the intersection of sustainability, circularity, data, and innovation in the construction and real estate industry. From our circular office at the inspiring Tramkade in ’s-Hertogenbosch, we work every day on smart solutions for the built environment across the Netherlands and beyond. Our solution is ideally suited for architects, construction companies, housing associations, municipalities, and corporates with large property portfolios, helping them answer questions such as:
- Does my building comply with government requirements?
- Is my project within the limits of global warming?
- What is the material-related CO₂ footprint of my real estate portfolio?
- Can my maintenance costs be reduced by making smarter choices during the construction phase?
- How much more valuable is my building if its materials can be given a second life?
Will you help shape this future?
Your Role as Account Manager
You are proactive, enterprising, and full of energy. You build and maintain client relationships from A to Z, and customers in the construction and real estate sector are genuinely happy to see you. You are one of BCI. Our face. Our calling card.
You achieve this by combining expertise with enthusiasm and initiative. You energize the sector around the theme of circularity, communicate its value, and provide fitting solutions. Naturally, you understand what is happening in the market and can translate customer needs into practical solutions.
You recognize yourself in the following profile:
- You value sustainability and circularity, because we must responsibly pass on the world to the next generation;
- You gain energy from approaching and inspiring (potential) new customers on this topic and actively seek them out;
- You enjoy giving presentations on the importance of sustainability, how responsible material use contributes to it, and how it can also deliver financial benefits;
- You can clearly explain how our software works and the value of its data for our customers’ operations and for their clients;
- You recognize market needs and translate them into input for our development team;
- You have several years of experience with sales processes, from CRM systems to quotations and follow-up;
- You hold a category B driver’s license and do not mind traveling throughout the country, although you are equally comfortable communicating via Teams;
- You understand that a sales role requires a results-driven mindset;
- You enjoy working independently but are not hesitant to ask a great, young team for support;
- You understand the balance between working from home, attending meetings, and working from our beautiful circular office in ’s-Hertogenbosch;
- You enjoy social interaction and the occasional drink with colleagues and/or clients;
- You are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
About Us
We:
- Are a priority player in sustainability, circularity, and software within the Dutch construction sector;
- Are in a scale-up phase, offering you a great deal of freedom and responsibility;
- Have outstanding colleagues who are always willing to help you when you get stuck;
- Will fully support you in understanding this field—so coming from outside the construction sector is no problem;
- Believe in “work hard, play hard,” with regular team activities such as sports events and social drinks, shared lunches (provided by us), and the ambition of an annual team getaway;
- Offer flexibility in vacation days, as long as agreed results are achieved;
- Work in a healthy balance between working from home and from our inspiring location at Tramkade in ’s-Hertogenbosch;
- Offer a competitive salary, an attractive bonus scheme that can add up to a 13th and 14th month, and a (electric) company car.
You will report to the Sales Manager. As BCI grows, you grow with us.
