Archetypes in BCI Gebouw

We have added reference calculations to BCI Gebouw to make circular design even easier for architects and developers. This allows users to start a new calculation from an existing template. It can also be used to determine a realistic score under different assumptions without needing to create a full calculation first. This is especially useful for housing corporations, municipalities, and consultancy firms. Key metrics, such as the MPG score, Paris Proof CO₂ performance, and disassemblability of the archetype, are displayed immediately.

The BENG Reference Buildings from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) serve as the foundation for the available reference buildings. BCI Gebouw has implemented various updates to ensure these reference calculations are fully up to date with a new assessment date.

To keep these reference calculations relevant, BCI Gebouw will continue updating them in the future. Additionally, we will soon expand beyond residential buildings to include other types of buildings, making circular design even more accessible!
